April A-Z P is for Pics of the Romance Times Convention

P is for Pics of the Romance Times Convention

I've certainly not been quiet about the fact that I headed north to Chicago for the Romance Times Booklover's Convention.  You've all had to endure my excitement and travel notes and blunders along the last few days.  So, I wanted to share a few of my fun times with you.

Of course, I mentioned I met with my family that I hadn't seen in many years north of Milwaukee.  But, I'm not entirely sure they'd appreciate their pictures being shared with those they don't know.  So, I'll skip to where I met up with Author J.D. Brown and Rochelle Weber, my editor.

I boarded my first train ride on the CTA here.  Rochelle was the perfect tour guide, having lived there for so long!  Oh, that's J.D. on the left and Rochelle on the right in that first pic.

We ended up walking seven miles around downtown Chicago!  (Yeah, Rochelle clocked it. *wink*)  My poor little feet.

But J.D. and I buoyed each other up and we made it to the Con.

So many authors to visit and so little time!  It was fantastic at the book fair!

Mary Janice Davidson had a reader appreciation party I couldn't pass up...

The Hyatt was beautiful.  And I got to see Anne Rice enter her limo with her body guards and drive away.  Darn it all if I didn't have my camera at the ready.

Totally tired me out, but it's an experience I'll always remember and use as an inspiration to work on my own books.  I'll be one of those authors in that book fair next year in Kansas City for the Romance Times Booklovers Conference, 2013!

All entrants must be 18 years or older.

Three winners will be chosen at random, using Random.com.
  • First place will receive 6 titles
  • Second and Third places receive 4 titles

**Note**  Some of the books contain graphic adult situations.  If you do NOT want to receive Erotic Romance books, please note so with your entry.

Once the winners are chosen, I will notify them and contact the respective authors.  Your email will only be shared with the authors to allow them to send you your prize.  Each author generously provided their work for you to enjoy.  I do not own these books.

On that note, I'd like to thank each of the authors that donated titles for this contest.  Without you, I couldn't have offered such a wonderful giveaway!

Until next time, may your dreams be magical.

Hi, Charlene! Thanks for the great pics. I stopped over for the Challenge only to find another RT attendee! I attended for my first time and stayed in the loop with my sister, so I also caught a glance of Marilyn on my way to Nordstrom's Rack (where I bought two pairs of shoes). Chicago is my favorite city. I enjoyed meeting Stephanie Perkins and Cindy Gerard. Good luck on the challenge and thanks for the giveaway.
